The Pre-Separation Briefing is required for all soldiers by the National Defense Authorization Act (Public Law 102-484) not later than 90 days prior to separation. Strict adherence to the time requirement protects the unit and better serves the soldier.
On average, an E-6 or below (with less than a Bachelors Degree) who completes ACAP will earn $7,300.00 more per year than someone who does not utilize ACAP services.
ACAP is a recruiting multiplier: 83% of those who complete ACAP would recommend the Military as a career.
