Overview

Isn't it annoying when you forget the password to a crucial document or file? Or you inherit work from former colleagues who've password-protected the files without thinking to pass the password on to you? What are your options? Ditch the file and start again? No thanks. How it works

1. Scan your passworded file to ensure it is virus free.
2. Mail the passworded file to this service. Pay no money at this point.
3. On receipt your file will be scanned again, using anti-virus and anti-malware software. Only if it is found to be clean will the process proceed.
4. Password recovery is attempted.
5. You will be emailed the results of the recovery, i.e. whether or not passwords can be recovered. You will also be sent a PayPal link to use to pay the fee of £10 per file (try the excellent xe.net to convert this to other currencies) if, and only if, you wish to proceed with the recovery process. It is hoped that you'll find this service a very cheap way of gettting your files back again!
6. Once payment has been received and cleared, the recovered passwords will be mailed to you.
