In the name of God Amen - I George Barrahm of Gislingham in the County of Suffk. Woollcomber weake in body but of good and perfect memorie doo make this my last will in manner ffollowinge ffirst I command my soul into the hands of Allmighty God my mercy - full ffather hopeing to be saved by the onely meritts of Jesus Christ my Gracious Saviour and my body I wand to be decently buried in hope of resurrection into the Eternal life. As for my imp- eriall Estate I give bequeath and dispose of it in manner followinge Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my sonne John and his heire forevr and all my Coppyhold houses Tenem.ts and Lands wt so?? free or coppiehold scituate lyeinge and beinge in Russingle or any other towne adjoininge in the County afore- said at the age of one and twenty yeares his bro -ther George the meane while to receive the Rents and profits of them and to bringe up my sone John and to learne him his trade Item I give unto my sone John thre score poundes of good and lawfull money to be paid him by my Execut s at the age of one and twenty yeares Item I give to my daughter Ann and her heires Twenty shillings to be paid her yearely by my Execut s for the spate of Thirty yeares next after my death And of the said Ann my daughter shall depart this life before the thirty yeares expire then my will is that Elizabeth the child of Ann shall have the twenty shillings paid her until the thirty yeares be expired Item I give unto Elizabeth my own daughter the sume of one hundred pounds of good and law- full money to be paid by my executors in maner and condition following. Twenty pounds to be paid within six weeks after her delivery if she the said Elisabeth or the child shall live.

Heremiss I will that the twenty pounds should sinke in the hands of my executors. And if the said Elisabeth or her child shall live then my winner is that my executs was shall pay for also for the rest of the four score pounds also year the and every year for the spate of twenty years next after my death not withstanding if gratis gall her father her father in law shall make a settlem t of an estate of his lyeing and situate in Gislingham upon the way called parkeway and leadinge to Mellis upon her and their heirs of their bodies. Then my executors shall pay in to my son-in-law the sum of forty pounds pcoll of the foure score and to pay also for the other forty pounds for the spate of 20 years and then the principal but if no settlement be made upon Elizabeth and her heirs by her father-in-law and the said Elizabeth did wthout heirs of her body and my will is that the said four scores pounds shall also Since in the hands of my executor. Itm I give to the poor of Gislingham twenty shillings and some other small legacies to my friends to be paid by my executors. All the rest of my goods chattels, debts, bills, bonds wt. Soon I give & bequeath unto George my sone whome I make and nominate soale execut r of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have set to my hand and seale this twelfth of Octobr Anno Dom 1669 and in the one and twentieth yeare of the reigne of Charles ye 2 Kinge of England Scotland France & Ireland.George Barrahm published and sealed in the presence of John Symond, Sarah Goodwill.
