Cherish The Darkness Zine -(Thailand) – Issue #4.
One
of the leading fanzine in Thailand. I don't know what is the great thing of this
fanzine. Because their language are written in Thai also the fonts is Thai too.
So I can't read and understand what they talk about. But the zine is really
support to underground metal as well. In this Issue they have interviews with
DONPHEEBIN (Thai), OBSCURITY (NY), DAWN (Ger), NECROSACT (Germany). Profiles of
BLUUURGH, and SALEM, South East Asia Underground scene reports, and Czech
Republic scene reports. Also contains flyer that talk about boycott ( Anti
Rip-off and International Anti wild rags movement ). some reviews about tapes

artwork. I recommended this zine for you. They are really deep into the

Effigy Remains – Issue #1
Effigy
Remains is also a metal label. In their first issue they had interviews with
CENTINEX (Swe), SEVERE TORTURE (Hol), many biois from Indonesian death/black
scenes. I think this zine will be better if their add more reviews and interview
in their nexts. They had only 3 reviews and the reviews is too short. It's not
so bad for a first edition. Great glossy cover and 56 A4 page. Effiggy Remains

This
zine is different with othe people zines. It contains manay opinions such as
about Anti major Label Statements, racism and Human Rights, Straight Edge,
Hypocrisy Is On Issue, etc. Also feature interviews with DESPAIRANCE (Malay),
ARKHAYTULMAYT (Malay), my band KILLHARMONIC, DRY KILL LOGIC (NY), SEEK SIX SICK
(Ina), Puken Vomit Distro (CA), and Sickos Fanzine (Ina), and special interview
about Human rights and equality with Mr. Norman Mashabaane. Many flyers include,
also great poems of Ira. 40 A5 pages Xeroxed zine. Written in English. Prices:
RM 5 (Malysia, posted from Indonesia)/Rp. 2.000 (Indonesia)/US$ 2 (World). The
editor is Malaysian but she lives in Jakrta Indonesia when I write this review.

Zine from Aceh Indonesia, featuring interviews with LIVIDITY (IL), MARDUK (Ita),
HORRIBLE, DEADITE, CINDAKU IMMORAL, many band profiles, band pictures, flyers,
some cartoon artworks, also some porn and nude pictures, news and infos. This
zine is good for new start. There are too many empty spaces and the fonts are

colour. One of the best newsletter in Indonesian scene. One of the best UG
newsletter from Indonesia. In this edition featured: Interview with SEVERE
TORTURE (Holl), THRASHLINE, RITUAL (Indonesia), profil band : DEATH VOMIT,
CARNIVAL TORMENT, RELIX, Opinions about 'Popularity in undeground scenes'. Issue
#3 contains interview with PROPHECY (TX) (re-issued from Dimensi Webzine), SIKSA
KUBUR, ALTAR SCREAM, DEATH KAFIR, gigs report : Noisefest 2, The Last Moment,
the both also contains review about zine, newsletter, and cassetes, many short
news and infos from Indonesian scene, articles, opinions, and flyers. The layout
is better in Issue #3 than the
previous. In Issue #4 they have an interesting interviews with CRUCIAL CONFLICT,
REGURGITATION, TRAUMATISM, SPOILED, SEX PUNK, some gigs report: Hardcore

This
first edition is good enough for a new upstart zine. They interview SIKSA KUBUR,
Rottrevore Recs, RA Prods, ROTTEN SEXUAL ORGAN, GEBOREN, BEGUBORNGIN, and also
interview with me (Dying Infos Zine). There are many biographies from Indonesian
scene, lot of flyers and some metal news. The material in this zine is enjoyable
and good enough. But they dont have any reviews about CD/tape/zines. The fonts
size is too large and I think to many empty space. Great job Azis. 30 A4 pages

Really enjoyed fanzine and has much knowledge here that you will find. It's better than the previous. Lot of interesting articles here such as about World Cup, Mode trends, Abortion, etc, etc. They had interviews THINKING STRAIGHT, and very crazy insane exclusive and long interviews with bastard band ANJING TANAH who really controversial. atmospheric/ melodic death and black metal. It contains interviews with BALANCE
OF POWER (MN), KATAGORY V (UT), PARANOISE (NY), SILENT EXILE (Can), SYMMETERY (Hol),
AZTEC JADE (ex-ELMER, LA), many zine/webzine/website reviews, also CD/Demo
reviews, and Michigan's band reviews. Great and good look lay out. The
interviews is really interesting. Very extremely recommended to all fans of
