Just a note to let you know that we did not forget your 26th birthday. We did go to visit you and placed purple roses in your vase. Ironically, ten years from the date that you left us, we buried pop. I am sure that you, mom and pop are all looking over us and being our guardian angels. We miss you so much. It is hard to believe that you are all gone to heaven. It is also hard to believe that you would be 26 years old now, and I am sure even more beautiful. Rest in peace sweet girl. We love you.

Comments: I accidentally stumbled across this website and I just wanted to say how nice and wonderful I think it is of Jill's family to remember her and to share her life with everyone else. While I won't say I know exactly what there going through because I believe everyone experiences grief in different manners, I will say I can relate to their situation. My sister was killed in a car accident a little over 2 years ago and it's been rough trying to cope, but God has never left me through it all. I wish each of you peace and comfort that passes all understanding.

Comments: Dear Doris and David: I have read all of the poems about your precious daughter, Jill and it brought tears in my eyes. I can't tell you all how very sorry I am about Jill's death. I'll never in a million years be able to understand what it is like to lose a child so tragically as you all have lost. Please forgive my bluntness about what is written here; it is just that I care about what happened and lately I have cried standing over the grave of a young woman who passed away tragically over 8 months ago. It's so sad, and, needless to say, unfair! I hope that you can find peace and comfort in these times of sadness and sorrow.

It has been exactly 5years to the exact day of the week since you left us. At this time 5 years ago, we were anticipating and hoping that you would make it out of surgery alive, however your injuries were much too severe. I remember that day so vividly. A part of us died when you did. That sadness will always remain. We will always think about you every day for the rest of our lives. I can still hear your voice and your giggles. You were so full of life and had so many friends, more than most people have in a lifetime. You now have 2 little angel nephews with you. Please watch over them and kiss them for us. We love and miss you so much. We did not go to the family reunion. Travis & Nikki did and had a good time. Maybe we will go next year. We will be moving into our new house soon. Today is New Years Day 2004. The 5th year New Years Day that you aren't with us. Fireworks was always the highlight for you on New Years. It was always so much fun for you. We were able to see the fireworks show, here in Las Vegas, from our patio. It was so pretty. Hopefully 2004 will be a good year for us.
