Why does Rick wear an eyepatch?

Because of an glass accident in earlier days, Rick is blind on his right eye. He chosed to use it as an part of his image instead of just having an unfunctional eye. Slick does probably not only use it for his image, it should probably also be good for his eye not to get dry.

Why have Rick been sitting in prison?

Well, at first he shot at his cousin and a bystander because the cousin was extorting money. It seems like Rick was accusing his cousin correctly because the penalty only lasted for about six years. However, under and after his prison time, he has been out of troubly, but people wants to send him home to England and thats why he was put in prison the second time. Slick always see's the good things in stuff by using some humour. Last time he said that he was happy for being in prison for a year, because he lost a lot of weight and spent a lot of time writing.
