Slick Rick, born Ricky Walters, was the man who inspired thousands of storytelling rappers to come with his sublime skills. Releasing classic albums like "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" and "The Ruler's back", and not to forget "Behind bars" combined with newer skills on "The Art of Storytelling" and diverse collaborations with well reputated emcees like Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg and Will Smith. Although most hiphop heads have heard Ricks voice, not everyone knows that they've heard it. Rick is the most sampled emcee ever which shows other rappers respect for the master of storytelling. Otherwise, the ruler is easily recognized by his eyepatch and his somewhat brittish accent. Slick Rick have been in prison for quite many years. Even though Rick might not be a cute little sheep thats totally innoncent, he has probably not done anything wrong and therefor many people have critizized the decision to put him behind bars. At least the last time was unfair to Rick since they only put him behind bars because he didnt wanna leave the country he had lived in since he was eleven.
