really, what is it?
IT'S
AN INDUSTRIAL ROCK BAND, AN ART PROJECT and A BOMB.
No
Fate Net was made up in 2004
by songwriter/artist
Andy as an output of all kinds of art, including
music (always accessable trough "www.no-fate.net").
Let's just say the website kickstarted it all, and whatever the
project would turn out, keeping the name seemed like the best
thing to do.
In
2006 the project finaly finished
it's first real musical manifest as Rob joins in, lending his
voice for leadvocals and also to contribute lyrics to it.
It's
not easy to define the sound by genre, but it must be somewhere
between industrial-rock, cyberpunk and electronic, but also hitting
elements
of post-rock and ambient.
The band's first performance on stage was in 2007.
Backed up by Guitarist Moritz.
But it happened that a short time after that the band fell into
a kind of coma mode. Rob from there on was very busy singing,
shouting and screaming his lungs out in the alternative-/progressive-rock
act Drowning Fate and Andy went on writing solo for some time,
but also to work on a medium he always loved aside from music,
videogames. Some kind of Arthouse-Games "Closed In"(2009)
and "Closed In Addendum"(2010)
were released to the public, focusing more on atmosphere and meaning
than on any gameplay what caused a lot of polarisation. (hey that's
a good thing, isn't it?)
However,
it appears that the Band returned to rehearsing in 2010
as drummer Danny joins in to beautifully materialize the really
missed sound of acoustic drums. The band NO FATE NET finally feels
complete again and is looking forward to perform live!
