Description I am basically an Oracle DBA & Oracle Apps DBA with above 18 years of total IT experience (out of which approx 13+ years in Oracle). I have been in a full time APPS DBA/ DBA role for the past 11.5 years & Currently working with Jacobs Engineering India Ltd. Mumbai, India since November 2007 in Apps dba & Apps DBA Manager role and have worked with companies like Oracle Corporation South Africa, Redbrigade South Africa, Patni Computer Systems Ltd Mumbai, Chemtex Engineering of India ltd and IBM India Pvt. Ltd. etc. As a full time DBA I have been involved in various database administration activities as database design, database implementation, installation, database sizing & configuration, designing and implementing back up strategies, performance tuning, database replication, Partitioning, upgrades to higher versions of the database. & Troubleshooting. I have had exposure to 24x7 support environments and has resolved problems under crisis situations. I also have 7+ years of programming experience where I was involved in programming and debugging applications. I have strong database skills, capability to work under pressure and good team skills.
